Motorcycle brake woes.

Lots of things to be thinking about.
Is the new lever fitted too snug to the MC?
Possibly I dont like slack or play in things.

Same with the clutch cable you need at least 1/8th of play !

Fitted a new clutch cable as well, that does have that little bit of play in it.

Well that seems sorted.
I backed the lever off slightly and all working fine.
Adjusted it to where it was and locked solid again. So all seems good.
No way of checking if the disc is true. I suppose dress up properly and try it on the road and see if there is any pulsing.
Should I rebuild the caliper as a precaution; wondering if the heat may have damaged seals. All feels fine though.
So kiddies always leave a tiny bit of play in your levers.

The problem YOU caused was that when you used the brakes & caused them to heat up that they could not push the fluid back into the M/S ! Thus locking the wheel up
You will soon find out if you warped the Disc when you ride down the road trying the brake & looking at wots happening ! caliper will move about !
