Supposedly heavy indicates strong and stable , all else equal. And height possibly to reduce back damage for anyone spending a lot of time praying/working on the M/C.I did have a hydraulic lift table but sold it as it was to heavy to put up against the wall.
I dont have much room in my garage as one third of it is my workshop.
the other is just big enough for two m/bikes and a bench.
why do these lifts have to be so heavy and why do you need to raise it nearly 3 ft?
would of thought 2ft would be good enough.
anyway I've just bought myself a new Honda Forza 750.
I'll then will see how long the table need to be.
its just mainly for servicing as m/cycle shop labour charge is silly money.
Totally agree with costs of servicing but they have to make a living and if 'enthusiasts 'cannot or will not do simple things like oil changes etc then I have no sympathy with them.
