Hello
I'm an amateur knifemaker who's belt grinders inverter went bang the other week.
I've bought a new cheapo "A2 series" 2.2kw vfd to go with my 2hp 50hz motor, and have spent the last couple of days puzzling over its programming - which is something I'm brand new to.
Today I think I cracked just enough parameters to get the grinder to run - however at low speeds the motor is getting too hot to touch. I've read that motors can get hot at low speeds due to their fans also being slow, but I think the problem is to do with v/hz.
I have no idea how to adjust this parameter.
Is it to do with torque correction?
The manual doesnt address this issue.
