Motocross/enduro forums?

Hi all,

After having sports bikes for the last 10 years, I've decided to buy myself a Honda CRF450. Mainly due to the fact that you can't much fun on a sports bike without wondering who or what is around the next corner these days. A day on a big bike ends up being a potter around with achy back and shoulders and I only got any real enjoyment out of it when I went to the TT.

Anyway, what I am asking is if anyone knows which are the preferred forums to sign up to for motocross/enduro bikes? The bike is currently for off road use only but I intend on registering it for the road probably after Christmas.

For all the years I raced mx and enduros on solo's and quads I used mx trax they organised track days an events coming up it was run by a bloke called si really nice bloke too

Si and his mate sold MX trax about 5yrs ago. I used to be on there all the time, Good Enduro and MX forums, although the MX forums tended to be full of young know it alls. Since the change of ownership the site of full of ads. Not been on for yrs

A word from the wise (or totally unfit read as you wish). I had a 400wrf and after you've picked it up for the umpteenth time it starts to get very heavy. I used ot do H&H and Time card, (time card are ace)

I'd be looking for a 125Ktoom or a 250. 2smokes the power bands are adjustable and some will also most ride like a 4banger.


Wish I could still ride one, but the body says NO

Si was a good bloke met him a few times i was one of the idiots who persuaded him to start up the quad section after I retired racing solos and started racing quads
I agree I rode from 125 up to a 250 the last solo I raced was a tm250 and that was a handful through the trees

Just been one, there's still a lot of the old guard about. Rejects was the forum to be one. There were no rules, well funny at times.

Cheers guys I'll give them a go, I used to have dirt bikes when I was a kid but I know I'm going to starting from scratch when I get out on it for the first time. I initially wanted a 250 but having intentions of putting it on the road made me opt for a bigger model. I'm quite fit but expect to be worn out after a days worth of falling off, but that's all part of the fun (and practice). Besides the Isle of Mann is also big on off roading so I can still enjoy myself when I go to the TT only in a different way from now on
