Why.
Because I opened their daughters eyes to how twisted and abusive the pair of them had been her entire life and she stopped taking their crap

I tried to do that with an ex. Unfortunately the parents won. She will still be miserably attached to the squabbling pair of them and unhappy as a result. I couldnt take any more. Her mother won.

Hypothetically, imagine a bloke who married a super hot one without paying much attention to what his future MiL looked like.

Then add in the fact he'd dumped one for who cooking was a passion.
