Moth identification

Keep seeing these little things flying around, any ideas?

Looks like a clothes moth.

Inside in the lounge, looks like some sort of carpet moth as its eaten some holes out of sight under the couch, just given it a good hoovering

Difficult as we have dogs. Rat catcher was round last week I asked him, he said sticky traps attract the males so I have bought some to try, was going to get the valeting machine on it later?

Sticky traps are fairly effective.
So is a rolled up newspaper...

We've got them, useless. caught maybe two moths.

Had 13 in one room this morning. Only a carpet in there and it's been doused in moth egg killer.
I reckon they're coming from next door through the floorboards or something, he is a hoarder

Edit: Sticky things came from amazon, london moth man or something.
They've been out for three weeks and replaced twice in case they'd lost potency.
Like i say caught about two mothsz

It's the larvae that do the damage, having a good chomp through your best clothes, by the time you see the moths it's too late.
