MOT time.

My wife's Outlander is going for an MOT next week but I've found a couple of things it might fail on, one front fog light lense is cracked but working and the front strut gaters are split. Would this pass with advisories or fail?
I don't have time to source parts and fit them in time.

depending on the design and access I would think about ripping the split gaiters off, not split if they are not there! replace before winter though, I will let a tester comment on the fog lamp lens but I would have thought an advisory, though it must work.

Just my opinion, but i think they would be advisories or at worst a "fix immediately" not an outright fail.

But if the glass is about to fall out, or could cut the pedestrian as you run them over, it might get mentioned.

It's perfectly fixed it just has a crack.
