MOT Question

My wife's car is due its MOT shortly. The audible click that reminds you that the indicator is on has stopped working. The visual indicator in the console still works, as does the cancelling when the steering is brought back to straight. Is the loss of the click likely to be an MOT fail please?


When it happened I assumed it would just be an easy to change relay but it turns out the sound is generated within the console (Skoda Fabia) so it will be a real pain to fix - maybe to the point that it would be easier to rig a separate replacement system connected to the indicator wiring?

Don't worry about it,
Audible click isn't part of the mot

Click and self cancel are not testable items

Disconnect the battery for a time and it might come back if it's generated by the ionboard systems.
