I recently got a small milling machine, made by Harrison and I was wondering what would be the best cutting fluid to use? I'm thinking about 2 gallons would suffice for a machine of this size?
Just ring up millers oils technical and ask which one is best for the materials you are likely to be cutting/type of cutters you use - HSS/carbide/tipped.
Used Millers for well over 15 years they keep changing the name of what I usually buy. General purpose and 5ltrs will be ample.
Or you could make your own.
Reminds me must get another 5ltrs.
