Ac/dc or just DC??
Jasic 200dc is a cracking tool for the money and can be found semi sensible price.
Personally I would go for a Parweld XTT202, really liked mine but sold it due to needing a bigger Tig. Ended up with a Stealth 320 which is also nice although the fan on it is very loud, I think the 200Amp versions also have a loud fan.
Dont worry it's still got a good home here!
The parweld is a good choice.
Next question would be to find out a budget though.
I've a Jasic 200P AC / DC and think it's a great tool.
I think it was £800 on offer about 4 years ago and it's never gave a bit of bother.
Never tried the Jasic, was about to buy one but it was more expensive than the XTT so opted for that after people saying it was nice and I was not disappointed. Is there any real world difference between the Jasic, Parweld and Stealth?
I got my XTT for £700 plus VAT but that was a few years ago.
Going to the next level will take 3x the money I would think.
If doing Alu I would imagine 200 amp would be a minimum. What sort of current are you after? Immediate thought, if you're happy with the current one is why not go R Tech again? Their 160A falls into your budget.
I've got their 210A digital one and for my purposes find it absolutely fine. Also had a "dummy" mode if I haven't welded in a long time.

Fair points. Mine hasn't been used a huge amount recently and is about 4 years old now but certainly haven't looked after it, it's spent quite a bit of time in the back of the Land Rover travelling around the country and not had an issue with it. I think when I got the 210EXT model it was around the £1100 mark (but can't remember if that was with or without VAT as I claimed it back). Dad's got the analogue version and equally not had any issues with it (was bought a few months after mine) he's actually used it more on stick around the farm.It is an option but wanted 200amps and that's £1500 and read plenty of issues with Rtech machines breaking so not at the top of my list now they've gone up in price a fair bit.

The Stealth is nice as well but I am not so keen on the way you adjust things but that that is just a personal thing.
The Parweld has a nice feature in 4T mode where you can tap the button to drop the current then tap again and it will go back to main, I used that a lot on Alu.
