Hi all.
Have recently bought a Mosa TS200 BS/EL. It is identical to a unit i use at work, although It has been retro-fitted with a hand throttle cable for some reason, holding a spring loaded throttle open, rather than the normal Honda throttle setup ive seen before.
It welds fine to start with, the dial can be set for certain size of rod (e.g 3.2mm set to 3 on the dial) but very quickly seems to have no voltage/current control and burns too hot. Its almost like the voltage control becomes bypassed after a very short period of time.
Ive checked the resistance of the dial, and it varies from 0 to 4.4kohms. Any suggestions?
Cheers,
stewart
