I think you could have a problem with a strict MOT tester if those are structural areas, the impression is they are a lot of tacks and not a true weld, I doubt you have any penetration to the original metal...I have known testers poke a screwdriver under and lift plates which look doubtful
Sorry to be negative but it is of no benefit to you to say well done it looks great, I think you need more power on and the gas sorted, then you should be 'motoring' so to speak.
The wheel arch looks a good solid job though..so well done on that.

, not so much making it look pretty hey, anyway, when doing your patch, take it slow, don't take on too big of a job, will get to the stage of frustration and wanna give up, at least you are having a go, most ppl would send it to a panel beater, and pay through the nose, you may make some crappy welds and you will lays some good ones, part of welding and learning, everyone starts off making boo boos, One lesson I have learnt is if it is too easy then you don't get any satisfaction, I am still in the learning process and at 58, am not afraid to have a go, don't get disheartened by a negative comment, they are saying it to help not belittle, a big hurdle for some overcoming criticism, am good at the too lol.
