would it not be advisable to trim just above the flashing ? in case i need to remove when refitting a new roof in years to come as once the render is on the wall id expect it to last for years to come ?its up to you your covering it anyway when you screw on your plastic trim
does that mean id have to damage the render if it was needing to be renewed ?the grind out will always be there its simpley chisel the pointing out and renew when needed
infact just moving the lead will losen it up rather well so will fall out anyway
the trim should be situated above the line but the lower part wont be
yea ive even gone for 1.2m with the 100mm overlap as the roof up there get very hot near enought as you cant even put your knee in the roof in the hot weatherI’d put the lead in the mortar line just above where the fibreglass finishes 150mm code 4 blue your maximum length per continuous run is 1500mm with a 100mm lap for expansion and contraction the corners ideally should be burned but can be bossed over to hold it in the chase get some lead clips they are quicker than lead wedges and clip every 400mm and 100mm either side of a corner
