More plasma cutting

I feel as though I have done nothing but plasma cutting for a while.
Customer wanted a five foot silver leaf, so out comes the trusty Rtech, and a couple of smoky hours later we had a nice leaf, off the be zinc plated .
got it back not to impressed with the finish but a scrub with WD40 and a scotchbrite pad did the job.
Not the best photo, the light was very flat as it was overcast.

Wow thats a lot of plasma cutting!! What thickness material is it? Was it for a Christmas tree?

A couple of hours? possibly less. it's quite a quick process but is very intense for want of a better word. Also I have done an awful lot of this.
Draw the leaf on, cut it out roughly as an outline and then cut the gap between pairs of branchy things, maybe make two cuts per section so you can get the waste out. I was thinking I should video this but my camera was at home.
I have used 1.6mm sheet and put 3x20mm strips edge on on the back to give it some strength and left the ends free so the customer can bend and tweak them to give more depth.

The sun came out a couple of days back, lovely and the customer came to pick it up when the sun was shining. Perfick.
I am amazed by the quality of camera phones these days.

I would live to see a short video on this. Not the whole tree but a small piece to see how the hell you manage to do this...lol

Anothe top job that man, but it's not the cutting that would bother me its cleaning the dross off
