More efficient bolt croppers?

Thanks for the finger you posted down, no lacerations, good clean cut.
I will buy the implement, when my customer coughs up.
In fact my responsible adult has just told me to order it.
I will go for the second model that claims to chop up to 24mm round bar.
So first job tomorrow is to give Chester machine tools a bell.
Will let you know how I get on.
I looked at Parcel Monkey as well, will give them a try on my next despatch.
Wifey is getting tired of my current courier.

MrOddbob gets another virtual pint and one to Norm.
In fact a round on me.
The bolt shears turned up yesterday. At first not too impressed, late courier, blah blah.
But they did cut metal.
Installed them on the n=bench today properly bolted down. They cut up to 13mm mild steel round beautifully. Not much cop on flat strip.

I will post pics and more detailed feedback when I have used them a bit.

Glad they do the job!

Do they cut anywhere near their stated maximum? The numbers look a bit optimistic on the site. I've a Chester 5" shear kicking around somewhere that's rated to cut 6mm flat ...I think they meant corrugated cardboard though.

Strangely they do work up to their rating.
