well it looks like im close to buying an 8x4 cnc machine. I'll go into more details as I get them. I'm going to need more air than I curently have, and, its going to need to be engine driven becuse my power supply is maxed out already before adding the machine.
Currently I have a 3hp motor from an aldi compressor that I had mounted (by a professional) onto a 250 liter tank, and that works well for handheld cutting, but wont keep up with continous operation. I'm pretty sure the one I have is 13 CFM.
I saw a 16 cfm single pump unit a few mins ago online, I guess that might be enough, though I was thinking more.
Is it possible, to buy two belt driven pumps, and run them from a single small honda engine? I'm straying into territory here I know nothing about (small engines), however I know a small engine hobbyist locally so I may call on him, also i can get it plumbed by the chap who did my current one.
So yah, what are my options? would love to hear any and all suggestions. I'm thinking two pumps can be driven slower and will require less maintenance due to them being less stressed.
