    need to know the cut angle of the roof beam joint......
    been looking on U tube, hence the title......usually when shown once it all falls into place but I don't know of anyone close by.....
    can somebody help please.....

    steel rsj = 305x102 .....
    the outside of the wall stantions/supports (building width) is 10meter's...
    hight of the roof at center line is 750mm above the top of the wall stantions or gutter hight...

    if it were smaller I'd just lay it out on the floor but only got a rough grass slope big enough....
    dont wanna get it wrong...
    also can u show me how to calc this....

    ta,
    sorry I'm so dumb....feel a fool to ask......hope we're all mates here......hahaha....

    Use trigonometry. If height is 750mm and it's 5000mm to centre roof line, then use a Tangent calculation.

    Tangent = opposite/adjacent 750/5000 = 0.15

    Use a calculator and 1/Tan 0.15 = 8.53 degrees

    However, I did my maths exams over 40 years ago so I stand to be corrected …………………………….. :doh:
