i dont no if most of you already no this but you no when you welder finally breaks down if you strip all the copper out of i and scrap it you will make about £130 on the scrap i did it on a old welder i found whilst out scrapping that what i do for a living.
some welders have aluminium wire round the transformers but alot have got copper reels about 6 of them
