Hi folks,
I've got 2 sets of "hard" jaws and one soft jaw set to modify by widening the groove by about 3mm.
The chuck is an older one which only came with a well used set of soft jaws, and it proved difficult enough to find some jaws the right scroll pitch and width so I took a punt knowing I'd need to widen the groove.
The soft jaws I suspect will be a breeze, but how hard are the "hard" jaws likely to be? I've plenty of decent carbide end mills to throw at them.
As always, any help much appreciated.
Cheers, Dan
