Modifying a Phosphor Bronze Bush

Again used in the MTB suspension industry, I had thought of those, I used to have boxes of them in the right size as well, in better compounds.

Yeah, DU's are used common in most race dampers. Acetal though, most acetal pre-made bushes will tell you not to use them with damping oils under any sort of elevated temperature. Maybe they get away with them on pushbikes because of the low weight and fairly large units for what they're doing.

I am sure I have some Delrin that would suit if you want it? I will check but I am fairly sure it is 1.5" od.

BSA bushes do fit though are shorter...

Buy three BSA items, and make two spacers to make up the length difference. Sell the offcut to someone for the same purpose.
