bit thin but, a wee bit more meat would be easier, but once it's in place, it's got nowhere to go... held in from both sides really. As long as there's oil there it'll be ok I would think...

buy some white metal and melt it in its very similar to solder and if its good enough for the main shels in engines its good enough for whatever u want it for

IF (ha) if I had though on I could of machined up some steel carriers and White Metal'd those.

Why not leave the spiral grove and machine an internal O ring grove at the top of the bush, sit an o ring in there as wiper seal for oil control.

I don't think I'd trust delrin for them, I know acetal generally has swelling issues with damper oils.

I had though of using it, cost wise these were cheaper.

It is used a lot in MTB suspension units. With oil with no seal swelling additives. It never caused a problem
