I insure through RH for the LT as well as the cars. Always a good deal and service from them.

3000 miles and no commuting, I'm a fair weather biker these days, I did my time riding into London years ago and I wouldn't fancy it now with all the "special" drivers out there...
Plus my TRX isn't very nice to ride in the 20mph zones...

I have a bit of a weird policy, its an adaptation of a traders policy that our broker managed to get underwritten.Covers everything and anything I take on the road whether road registered or not, its primary purpose was road cover for any machines/kit I was working on and delivering back to site, often get a situation where the truck can only get so far and a machine will have to be tracked/driven a short distance to site on the highway,its needed in case I meet a Clarkson type numpty head on down a narrow country lane( and I have 
) Tad dear (3.5kpa) but the up side is I can add any amount of vehicle I like to the policy no matter how silly the engine size.

I have until the last ten years always had my motortrade insurance with A.Flux
When they first started they had a small shop down London Rd. In King's Lynn (the town I live in). Two people working in it.
They now got a huge complex just outside the town - East Winch Hall - with tennis courts for the staff. Now 1500 people across the country

Due to cover issues - and real price hikes I have moved away from them - and yes the internet feedback does not look good.

I used to use them when I was younger and they were in that little shop.
They were good.
Tried them a few times since for various things the NFU won’t do. Got worse and worse. Wouldn’t touch them with a barge pole now.
If you think the flux side of the business is bad @premmington you should see what a complete fk up bikesure is. Owned by them.

In addition to my Anti Flux comments (based on experience) I should mention that I've now got lots of cars with A plan, up to 500BHP 6.0 litre.
They have been great.
Last week I sold a car that I'd had for 20 years, told them, they checked, the premium had only made up £68 of my multi policy, they got £24 refund, but as the admin fee was £30 they just said they'd do it and forget about money.
So far they have been great, I've been with them for 3 or 4 years. Not had to claim thankfully.
Just in case anyone didnt get my main comment - Dont use Flux or Bikesure (same company). Cheap, but theres a strong chance you will regret it.
I genuinely have paid significantly more to avoid using them in the past, not worth the risk, they are beyond slippery, they'll either not give the cover you paid for (happened to me) or will find creative ways to charge you lots of money that you didnt expect.

This isnt an option for all as you need to be in the south west. We have all of our stuff with Cornish Mutual. My land rover was with NFU - unlimited miles, towing, Europe and business cover all included. I never thought £400 was too bad for all that with some relatively minor mods to the car all declared etc. When we moved to the south west, we got a quote from Cornish Mutual - they halved the NFU premium for the same level of cover. We had to claim on one of the other cars and they were very quick.
