Mod assistance for a build thread?

I’d like to share my 4x4 buggy build in a thread, but there’s too much text and photos to fit in one post. I'd prefer to keep the thread hidden until everything is uploaded. I tried reaching out to the mods through the CONTACT US link, but haven’t received a response. Could a mod help me with this?

While it might take some time, could it e a consideration to break it up as if you were currently doing the build and add to the thread over a few days / weeks I know it would be nice to just dump your full build but it could be a work around, good luck, I'll look forward to having a read.

If you just write it but not send it, it stays in your device until you press "post reply".

Why not start a thread, and in the initial post ask everyone to refrain from replying until the thread is complete?

Those who flout this request will be obvious and you have the 'report post' option open to you if you feel their reply is inappropriate.

I am not aware of your desired way of establishing a thread having occurred in the forum's past, so you might have to provide some robust arguments for why you warrant special treatment.

If this has been done previously, perhaps point out where and when this was as it will support your request to have it happen again.

Theres a photo and text limit per post, usually have to spread the info over several posts.

@rcx132 I've "reported" your initial post in the threads, not because I see anything wrong, just to raise the thread to the Mod's awareness.
Else ways it might be some time before one of the Mods notices.

Most build threads are done over several posts, why does it all need to be in one post?
You might well discover people will find it too much to read through all in one go without breaking it into separate posts anyway.

You could try using the "drafts" feature to save a draft - I'm not sure how long it saves the draft for. I don't believe it is indefinite.
If you want to group some content together, you could also try posting several "placeholder" posts, which you can then go back and edit. But there is a time limit on editing posts, so be aware of that.

I fully understand his reasoning and I have done it myself on the Scimitar forum. If you get responses to posts, it breaks up the flow, but I have just asked that nobody responds and usually, that is how it works out.

It's a limit of 10 pics per post, I don't think there's a limit on text.

Write all the text in notepad or something.
Breaking it into sections.

Then, about 3am, copy & past it into posts adding photos.

Should stop anyone butting in.

I think you have to wait 30 seconds or something between posts but if you add photos to each as you go you should elapse that.
