Hi all , i'm new to the forum and thought this might be usefull for some with this type of pedal ! This is the standard foot pedal that comes with the Eastwood Tig200 ac/dc ,and a lot of other low cost machines . It was very awkward to use and i bought there upgraded pedal , but was looking at this and decided to try to convert it to a usable pedal just for something to do . Anyway here is the picks of the completed mod . believe it or not it's quite smooth and comfortable to use every bit as much as the upgrade pedal . It looks like it would be unstable but really isn't . I thought about welding a plate of aluminum to the bottom of it but it isn't needed .
Just thought i would post it incase there are people using this style pedal and may want to convert there's .
PS ( the linkage has bushings in the ends, and know i could have cut down on the washers to tidy it up a bit,lol )
