Mobile Tig welder required woodford area

Hi have a new aluminium garden table but the leg fell off as previously welded badly from manufacturer.
Does anyone know of a mobile tig welder that will come over to me for its repair? Please.

Looks fairly straightforward. I work quite near to there so I could bring my Tig and do that. Does the banding come off further as I fear by welding it properly it would burn it. What was the threaded hole used for? Was it bolted on at some point? If so can it not be bolted on again. Pm me to agree a price for the work.

Thnk you, still learning my way round the forum ! From the picturs it looks like it will be a difficult job to do due to the plastic padding, however it can be cooled quick enough with a bottle of water... Good luck to Richard...

I'm unable to commit till late next week and she is happy with that but if you can do earlier send her a pm as I don't mind stepping back if it helps her out. I spoke with her about the job and the binding is the only trouble otherwise it's a simple job. By all means if you can tend to the job before me I have no issues at all.

Thanks for the offer but i won't be able to attend, i have a very big 50kg bottle and the thermal arc i use is not that light either... If she can get the table up to Chingford, then i will be happy to do it for her ! Thank you ever so much...

Thank you all for trying to help. Unfortunately i cannot get the table in the car as too big. Will need anyone that is mobile and be able to pop over.

Tina I will hopefully be popping over after work Thursday to have a look at it and see if welding is the way to go. My biggest concern with it is the decorative banding weaved around the whole thing. It's not removable and because the table is aluminium it will heat up so quick it may permanently damage this banding in seconds of arcing up. Quenching it is an option but that instant cool rate could make the welds brittle again and again Alu conducts heat so fast especially thin Alu it may burn the banding before I get chance to quench it. Welding is a last resort for this job. I'll bring some other bits and see if it can be fitted securely another way.

This would be a better option than welding it to preserve the binded finish.

From images, material looks like box section, if so, perhaps al/al angle pop riveted would a better option, with angle repair hidden when re-wrapped with plastic covering?

that sounds like a plan, I think an alternative on that theme could be to weld up two bits of angle to make box section of right size, weld flanges on, and pop rivet or bolt to table, leg then fits into "socket" and is secured by bolt.
I have found pops can tear out or loosen up somtimes, so bolt and spreading washers might be an alternative.
I only have a Halfords pop gun though, if you use a proper pro version I expect you would get better results?
