Mobile phone problem?

Had this Samsung S20+ for over five years now and its still good BUT for one thing and thats the notification sounds.
I keep the phone updated all the time when requested so thats fine. with O2 if that matters. all works good.

But when i get a notification it does not make a sound, or atleast very quite. All i can do to make the sounds come back is to turn it off and on again. Even does this when connected to my ear pods.
it would not be a problem really but i have a Blood glucose monitor connected to my phone by BT that alerts me of low sugar levels for my diabetes and it is a godsend but now i cant hear the alerts which is not good.

Oh and all notification settings are set correctly.

Is it new phone time as nobody i ask can help wit what is wrong.

Under Settings > Sound and Vibration > Volume, you should see four sliders, what are they set to?

BTW not sure how you managed to get an S20 more then five years ago, when they only released it three years ago.

All settings are set to full.

even the key pad sounds go away aswell

Have you shut it off and on again? My Samsung sometimes loses phone call sound and if I restart it its fine for a couple weeks again
