You need the second hand for putting the rod in so for me,pick up rod, 1/4 turn on holder with rod in hand, flick out stub, insert new and twist backQuality spring clamp type for me. Burn/squeeze/drop. 1 handed operation.
I can get on with whatever is on the machine tbh.
