Unless you keep ordering the same from the same company each month the unit price winds right up until you don’t buy off them for a month.

IWS used to be terrible for it, come up with a load of cock and bull about cost increases and that this was the absolute best price, if you didn’t place an order the rep would be round where did it come from and how much we’ll beat it garanteeded And would more than happily cut there previous best price in half

We are repairing car garage - not fabricators - we do order limited amounts of A18 mig wire and some MMA electrodes and TIG wire and consumables.

But we really only have an order with a welding supplier every three months - not monthly.

Nobody is gonna be fighting for the orders we make here... (sad but true).

To be honest - our local welding suppliers have a limited stock of everything - limited choice - they have to order in everything.

Been using Rapid - next day delivery - plus we can get the Exothermic rods we use for "blowing pins out of diggers".

We only do repair work - we are not gonna buying huge amounts of anything.
