MMA Inverters - Genuine Power Ratings?

I see a lot of purely MMA inverter welders for sale, often with grossly exaggerated power and duty cycle claims...

Are there any MMA only inverters, say upto 180-200 Amps, that do exact what it says on the tin?

Sip one's seem to do what they say. The cheap Chinese 200amp inverters do about 120amps max.

depends what you want to spend, I have a kemppi one i bought ex hire, and its a really good machine!
The guy tried to sell me a brand new Jasic for a similar price to the ex hire Kemppi, but I think i made the right choice!

That's why I'm dubious about anything from Amazon or ebay.

My present 3-in-1 machine already does 120 Amps, maximum. It's nice, but I find the permanently affixed MIG torch and lead tends to be a bit of a nuisance, at times.

This style of Inverter Fusion is made in the UK and is a superb welder with accurate settings. One of the few that has a 100% duty cycle at full amps.
They are no longer listed on their website so I hope they have not stopped making them.
They list another one but I think it is a rebadged unit made abroad.

Someone was selling a Thermal Arc 175 Te on here, great little machine, it'll burn 3.2mm rods all day & 4 if you're not going too hard. Pretty robust, very compact.

My parweld 180 was a stick only inverter and would run any rod you wanted all day long

Any of the good ones do what they say. Even Jasic and Parweld are ok. Its the cheap rohr/stahlwerk/etc that are unlikely to do what they claim, and the unheard-of brands absolutely do NOT do what they claim.
The difference between midrange inverters and top end inverters is that the best ones can run on a meagre power supply that would trip if using a lesser machine. That, and obviously durability and welding characteristics.

This one appears to be clearance stock, according to the eBay page for this company. However, nothing is mentioned on the main website about this being clearance stock. The problem with this is that the eBay page says there's no warranty.
