Mitsubishi Outlander 2.2 engine ???

I know theres a few Mitsubishi owners on here that might have a bit of knowledge about these I'm looking at a 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander with the 2.2 diesel engine to replace the Zafira, anything to look out for?

SWMBO NEEDS a 4x4, 7 seats, auto preferable. I like autos so that's ok, 4x4, well we've just moved to the end of a long single track lane so that's ok, 7 seats? Meh.
They only come in diesel unless you want PHEV but that only has 5 seats!
Nissan X Trail too expensive and has a French Renault engine!!!
Anything German not interessted.
Zafira NEVER AGAIN WILL I HAVE A VAUXHALL!
So an Outlander it is, oh did I mention I've just bought one?
It's got 3 years of the 5 year manufactures warrenty left so I'll leave the DPF for now......

Yep all modern vehicles are designed to fail at some point!
I've got a Toyota Surf for that eventually!
As for the 7 seats she picks up other peoples children quite often.

is it paved? If so no 4x4 needed, why 7 seats? - is she planning on joining the Quiverful movement? (I'm just messing with you)

Petrol Zafira I'd have had, that or a C / S Max (maybe not an auto Ford though, heard bad things about the Euro powershift boxes...then again everything seemingly has issues)

Too right, in some markets they've increased the warranty to 7 years as even Ford don't know how to fix them at the moment!

The power shift gearbox is what stopped me buying a grand c max a couple of years ago, mate bought a fiesta and it went wrong almost straight away.

Mrs Robo test drove a B max with powrshift earlier this year and liked it until I did a bit of research and found out about the problems, she bought a Meriva instead.

Picking it up tomorrow, the last thing the salesman said about our Zafiera part ex was bring it in I'll give it a quick test drive as long as it's ok with no engine lights it'll be ok!
No engine lights on a Vauxhall? Is he serious?
I actually had a dream last night that the car blew the gearbox on the way to the dealers!
