What L/R is it Julian?
300tdi defender
uses the same alloys as 300tdi discos, and td5s, and, probably pumas, but im not sure about the last one.

Mate, I just typed L/R wheel nuts into ebay and that was the first of about a million options.

I have seen on forums people using a 21.5 or 27.5mm socket to get around this.Buy a 27.1mm socket and use what you have
I bought some from "Wrington engineering"
They seem to have a reasonable range of solid machined ones.
Total £246.00
The LR ones are two dissimilar metals (stainless and steel nut inside perhaps) to keep them looking shiny. Water and condensation gets trapped inside and causes some rust causing to to blow apart.Caused by people using a normal socket rather than a proper alloy wheel nut socket. Changed some damaged ones and put genuine LR OE on and using the proper socket have never had any trouble. Had to use an AF socket to get them off.
