I'm experiencing an issue with Mipa's epoxy primer. I applied 2 coats, mixed 2:1 with 2k hardner, to a prepped steel bracket, using my 1.4 nozzle primer gun. After leaving it for 36 hrs to air dry im the paint booth it was still very soft, such that you couldn't hold the bracket without leaving finger prints everywhere. Really soft. Not sure why. It did the same last time I sprayed a petrol tank and on that occassion I thought that maybe I had a dumb moment and accidentally used 2k thinner rather than hardner, but now I believe I had the same problem. Only way I can get the damn stuff to cure off is to take the bits home and stick them in the oven on low heat. That works, but shouldn't need to. Any thoughts?
