Mini Mig 185 Logic Board Needed

Hello All,
I have a Mini Mig 185 by ARCOS Lincoln Ltd that is having feed problems. There is a 5-20 second delay on spot weld. Stitching works but it pauses a lot and is extremely annoying for fine projects. The motor and switch are fine.
I've tried to find any faults in it but it's a bit over my head.
My question is, are there outfits who can repair my board? Or, can anyone point me in the right direction for a replacement? Thank you for your time.

Hello and welcome to the Forum !

As I understand it, the time delay issues that you describe are when the "Mode" switch is set to Spot or Stitch. If it is set to Continuous mode, are there still random delays to the start or stop of the wirefeed?
Do these delays also affect the arc and the gas valve, or only the wirefeed?

Have retired and want to do a bit of welding Got given a Murex Tradesmig 251 but it has a problem with the wire feed Have a bit of experience with electronics and have traced the fault to the PCB
All pots and switches are OK and I have power to the PCB Contactor clicks but no feed Motor is OK
Has anyone a circuit diagram for this PCB ???

The first step with any Murex-supplied control board is to inspect and if necessary reflow any suspect solder joints.

That relay top middle looks a bit sorry for itself, not sure if just the picture but looks like a crack in the green insulation. Electronic components usually either work or they don’t, sounds like something mechanical to be intermittent. I’d have a look at that relay and probably replace and as Eddie says check out the solder joints.

The wirefeed motor is driven with PWM speed control by one of the TO-220 type power transistors, and braked to a halt to prevent run-on by being shorted by the second transistor.
The relay switches AC mains power to the main welding transformer, probably via a Contactor.

Thread 'contiweld 140 with a burned resistance'

Hi,

I have a contiweld 140 with a burned resistance.
This resistor has a value of 8.8 ohms but I do not know if this is the correct value because it is completely burned , as shown in the picture.
The board code is W10E maybe someone has a drawing of this PCB so I can determine the resistance value.
