I have built a few off roaders these below, V6 into a SJ and X-90, 1.9TD XUD in to an SJ, road going not just off road.
X-90 with V6 Cologne with G wagon axles and 3 link suspension. Near finished that but for making the coil mounts and hyd steering.and interior.
My fav toy was this SJ with first a V6 then a XUD TD
NOt exactly the same as this project idea but i get the time scale and i see projects as fun to do so i never rush to get them done. I find if you rush them you get bored as you want it done within a time scale which is not easy at all when you have work on and a wife to keep happy. Lived and learnt that over the years.
Got my boat to finish which is year behind lol, but enjoyed it

There were two Ian Brooks' who worked for CSC when I did, the email addresses were first initial and then surname @domain with the second and third etc to be issued having a following number. I was first so didn't have any numbers.
The first one worked in Australia and was obviously management of some variety as he often got asked to approve company cars and mobiles (when a mobile was an expensive item). I got a lot of mail for him and after a while I got fed up of telling the same people that they had used the wrong address again so i just started replying with "yeah fine - get one for me whilst you're at it". The emails dried up quite quickly after that, either someone was sacked or they started paying more attention when sending emails.
The second one worked at a site 8 miles from me. He obviously made an assumption about the email address he would get and gave my email address to all sorts of places. I made the mistake of replying to one from Linkedin saying they'd got the wrong person and they scraped my phone number from my signature and put it with the details that he had supplied. I regularly used to get phonecalls from people trying to get me to apply for jobs in his field (Oracle developer). Eventually I went to the Linkedin site and used the "I've forgotten my password" routine to get a temporary one sent to the email address they had (mine) and wiped everything I could from the account. I was seriously tempted to add things like axe murderer or a stint in wormwood scrubs in his career history but managed to restrain myself.
