After using it on some 2mm aluminium I would not recommend it it really struggled to cut it and it's rated to 3mm

Something isn’t set up right then because 2mm aluminium cuts very easily (obviously grade plays a part as to how easy). My throatless shear is rated exactly the same up to 3mm alu sheet. The weight of the handle alone pretty much gets it through a lump of 2mm 1050.

I've checked every thing it goes through 1mm miled no problem so I'm of to see one of the Milwaukee reps in a hour the cutting head bit has also got a load of play in it now it's the blue bit in the picture

Just to follow up they have been back to Milwaukee twice and still aren't working right I have just got them back yesterday and used them today to cut a piece of 2mm Ali and it has just snapped one of the cutting blades so I have had to get PayPal involved since no one wanted to get it sorted properly so we'll see what happens it won't stop me buying Milwaukee I will just not be from the same place I'll buy local
