Theres a stop on the guard for how far round it can go I think. I broke it so I can spin it all the way round if that makes sense. It’s handier like it. I can get it in more tight places
I shall have a closer look later after work. ThanksTheres a stop on the guard for how far round it can go I think. I broke it so I can spin it all the way round if that makes sense. It’s handier like it. I can get it in more tight places
I think so. It’s been so long. If you wait till Monday I can show you. I think I remember taking the four screws out.I see the little tab you mean, @KimB did you have to remove the whole little ring with the 4 screws to break that tab off?
I looked i would have to revove the 4 screws cut the tab off then the magic would happen! it has a few other tabs with dimples that locate in the holes as it is sprung loaded. I can see exactly what you did and snapped off.I think so. It’s been so long. If you wait till Monday I can show you. I think I remember taking the four screws out.
from memory there’s still something that locates each of the normal holes to stop it spinning easily.
If you have a pic it may jog my memory.
cracking little tool, I used it up on the roof today to cut the gutter, facia and soffits to size
Just ordered one of these. Never thought I’d need one of these tools but realised it would be ideal for some jobs I’ve got lined up.
After ordering I wondered if it could be used as a mini circular saw for thin board so has anyone put a TCT saw blade on the tool and how good is it for cutting wood?
They come with a toothed blade and the wood cutting guard.
I've chopped furniture to bits with one.
You may have a problem with cutting depth, good for plywood etc.
