milling cutters

So I have acquired a nice set of milling cutters I have no mill what can I use them for? I do have a pillar drill.

they arent going to pan out too well in a pillar drill.
they look more of a model makers set to me as the largest one there looks to be about 1/2" if even.

you could buy a mill to suit them.....

they are dear to buy new but of course your looking at the bay now.
i bought 16 milling cutters last week ranging in size from 5mm to 20mm for £20 inc postage if thats any idea.

mine were loose, yours is on a nice little plinth, id suspect someone in the modelling end of things id lap something like that up.
check out e bay to see what they are making.
there is a right few cutters altogether, but how many are good tho.
i see they are covered in wax which would suggest either unused or re ground.
depends on how many are dull, if some are they aint worth much.

ok there are 61 of these cutters in the set all apart from 2 of them have never been used by looking at them and have the protective coating still on them.

I still have no idea of what they are worth but smaller sets are well over £100 and probably not as good quality wise.
