Hello everyone im new and have a question for you experts, I bought a used miller maxstar 90 tig welder for welding sheetmetal my question is it dont have the torch or grounding cable ,what torch can I use that will fit? and does the gas line go stright to the tank regulator? my cheep chineese tig has the gas line run to the tig unit .and will any 14 pin foot control work? as you can see im new to tig welding and dont know a lot . any help will be great.

Yep, maxstar 90 doesn't have any gas connections as it's a DC arc inverter so you'll need a 'valved' TIG torch to control the argon in order to use it as a 'scratch TIG'. Example of such a torch here, note the gas valve on the handle just below the torch head. Some brands of torch require an adaptor. Torch wise something WP-9 sized will do the job, valved version usually denoted by v suffix i.e. WP-9V
With regards to pedals they aren't a universal thing- amphenol connections vary as well as the pot values in the pedal although the maxstar 90 appears to be the same as most Miller kit.
With this sort of machine the torch is typically permantly live (as with SMAW stinger). Not sure whether fitting a pedal will make it behave like 'lift TIG' or just add fine control with regards to amperage.
