I just picked up a Miller scynowave 250dx tig runner package it's a 310 amp acdc water cooler tig.Now before anyone says that I should of bought a newer inverter type tig because you can adjust the frequency and so on well I knew that but when I saw the one I got I just had to have it I'm really happy with it. It is in great condition and everything is working on it as it should. It welds really good and the stick welding side of it is brilliant it just eats up 6010 rods I couldn't believe how good it welded those rods...i am not that experienced at tig but by the time I have this machine mastered I'll be moved up a few notches. I want to get a really good transformer machine and really get good on it before moving on to newer stuff.Has any of you' s owned or operated one of these and what 're your thoughts on it? Any advice for me please?
Love to hear what you' s think?
Here is some pics of my welds on it..
