Miller integra 183

Purchased a MILLER INTEGRA 183 wired up for a 3 ph supply, I can see that the unit can be converted over to 1ph 220v by moving the links on the incoming mains block, my problem is I require to now were I would connect the neutral supply if any one has any ideas or has done the convertion I would be greatfull can supply photo's if required John

I have and down loaded it gives you 50% then assumes you know the rest I did not wont to guess and do any damage, I thought I would ask around to see if there a chance someone had done it "Live In Hope"

I realise that this is a slightly older thread but it's worth pointing out for others: On most machines made/intended for the USA market, the provision of a 230/440 volt tapping is to accomodate the different voltages used on a 3 phase supply. In europe, the voltage on any one phase of an electrical supply is 220V (approx.) therefore the voltage between any two phases of a 3 phase supply is 440V (approx.). This is why machines are quoted as 440V 3 phase. In the USA, the voltage on one phase is 110V, so between any two phases the voltage is 220V. Hence the 220 (or 230V) 3 phase supply requirement for these machines.
Generally machines designed for the USA will not run on 230 single phase here in the UK. This is a common misunderstanding. Even if you could supply sufficient current to a 3 phase machine at 240V, it would run a really bad/rough weld or it may not work at all.
