Ok so I acquired this today advert said three phase but it looks like single on the plate and it only has three core wire fitted came with a foot pedal but no torch or reg (not a problem as I have both of those lying in a corner of my workshop) has anyone got a PDF manual for it or knows anything about it

Evening, there's a few threads on these machines on here.

Firstly, they are excellent solid state transformer machines and very reliable.

The can run on 230 volts, or two phase 400 volts, so do you have a dataplate regarding how it's currently set up? No plug I assume.

Look in the archives, may help.

I was assuming it was wired for single phase as the wire is pos neg and earth although it could be 2 phases and earth never owned a proper Tig before although I have had a go on my arc with a Tig torch

Need a clear photo of that label, just above your hand.

Could well be set up to 240 volts, but can't tell. For sure.

You may need a 60 odd amp supply for the higher ranges.

You used to go to Miller site with Ser No and download the manual foc. Qmay be still can

I tried that it can't find the serial no it does not seem to have the hf e

It is, if it's set for 220V.

The cable is standard 3 core although it's about 6mm cross section

Should work OK on your houshold supply.
I haven't had a dialarc but I stored a Syncrowave for a few months when a mates dad moved.
it kept the wire to my garage nice and toasty.

Someones been in there and tried swapping it from 415 to 230, but not fitted the second link - it used to be there - see the clean thread. Maybe bad news. make a wire link and try it, as directed by the sticker.

I did that this afternoon it seems to start but then trips the 16 amp overload maybe got a high startup current I will put a 32 amp socket in and try it or use the 3 phase
