Ok so I started my new job on Monday , not a maintainance role but I seem to get attracted to it.
Right thy have a little miller compactblu 243 witch I am told became poorly when they had it turned it on and the earth connected to the bench, when they started welding on the bench with a HF start TIG, the miller started to run constantly like the trigger is pulled.
First I checked the torch, euro connector, wiring to the circuit board, all ok so my focus turned to the circuit board ware I found a duff capacitor witch I replaced put it back together and now nothing.
I'm not and electronics expert but would anybody agree that the circuit board must be at fault?
Also is it likely that the TIG killed it?
