Best way to sort that out set my depth stop at the wrong hight

Ignore is the best thing to do, mistakes happen. Otherwise you could weld repair with cast iron or nickel filler material and dress back

That sort of damage is best off left well alone to serve as a reminder.

One of my mills has some nickel repair in the table ways. Fine when done at the foundry when the part is hot through. Not so great when assembled to the machine in a fully machined state. Any welding involves heat and heat results in distortion.

That's if the whole lot doesn't decide to crack.

Leave it alone, just make sure the i side edge isnt slightly raised.

The machine is scrap, you will have nightmares about it for years to come, Best solution is to let me take it away, out of sight, out of mind , you know it makes sense

got a full kit for a fiver at bootsale he obviously didnt know wot it was worth . belzona is a lot thicker than jb weld and not as runny and dries faster
