Yes there are two of those mag blocks, am I right in assuming they act as work mounting blocks on magnetic chucks. I notice that they are not magnetic in themselves.
Correct. They are basically a stand off block to allow jobs to be mounted that have obstacles on one face and need a flash off on the other side, an example would be something like a punch plate that has punches sticking out of one side and the head of the punch needs flashing off on the underside of the plate. Although this is not the best example as we actually use something else as stand offs on punch plates.
As you rightly say the mag blocks or not magnetised but they way they are made transfers the magnetism through the mag block itself.
