I had a decent result just using a mop on a cheap DA orbital polisher with some cutting / polishing compound (G3 from memory).
I'd say results were 8/10 for 5 minutes work and looked good, I'm sure more time and using course then medium then fine polishes would have given a near perfect result.
Beware the polish will fly around. Wipe it off quick, once it dries it's a beggar to remove - check your glass, paintwork .. I got some on my dash when I was polishing the paintwork and it took a lot of scrubbing to clean once it had dried.

Yes I've done them with that machine as a quick fix, the results look good but if you linger too long on one spot or overdo it it can create a mark.Has anyone tried this kind of restoration kit, where the final "icing on the cake" is applied using a vapour-phase product?
