nope mine was in my dads pond with a weirach HW35! i did have a few crashed and burned fockers then i discovered model rockets....

Crikey, I'm getting all enthused about making another kit! I made my first model in 20 years about six months ago, an SAS Long Range Desert Patrol Group Landrover in 'Pink Panther' guise. Quite good relaxing therapy after a hard day in the orifice. I was trying to get the kids interested since I spent much of my years as a young lad making Airfix kits. I see a 1/72 Hawker Hurricane in my near future...

I used to customise Airfix bike kits in my teens. Raked & hardtailed frames, stretched forks, even custom fuel tanks from Milliput or Plasticard!

I'm just in the process of selling off dozens of boxed unbuilt kits that I accumulated when I had a grand plan to build them all to the best standard possible. Got a pro quailty airbrush, compressor, all the tools etc. Realised it's never going to happen now so it's all going.
Mostly race cars and bikes. Some of them have realised surprisingly high prices so far !

its only a LDV Tipper with a body swop and it is road legal for the uk. cheers bill
