OK, It's not a big thing in the great scheme of life, BUT, I finished a box of 6013 rods today! 155 rods worth. I have been using my modified Aldi buzz box in earnest for around 18 months now, ( I bought it in 2008!) An Auto darkening mask and a decent rod holder made it all the more enjoyable. Welds are still a bit rough but can see an improvement and the bits don't fall off! Sorry I'm not going to post photos of my welding. I also have bought another box of rods and they seem OK.

Go on tell us what the modification was, assuming it was more than adding a decent electrode holder.

No, No pictures, (would it help to say my camera is broken?) The mod was changing the fixed 2.5 metre lead for the torch, to a Dinze plug with a longer, larger section cable. Also put a screw thread electrode on the end.Come on get the pictures posted
