mightymig 150, good buy?

Hi all,
As title really, I've been offered a used mightymig 150 for £130 I'll be using it mostly for car restoration but also tinker stuff from time to time upto 4mm this machine should be fine as long as it's reliable.
Are they good welders and do they have lots of good or bad points?

As far as I know they are an OK DIY MIG welder about the same as the equivalent Clarke MIG welders. Spares are available but maybe not quite so easy to find as for Clarke.

It's too expensive to use disposable bottles so you'll need a regulator and use either a rent free refillable bottle or take advantage of the Volkzone deal. It depends how much you use it.

You'd better see it working on all its ranges before you buy it.

I'll be sure its working 100 percent before buying and I'll most likely be using pub co2 as I've been using co2 with a Clarke 100amp machine to restore many cars over the last 10 years and have always ben happy with the welds, but that welder was sold a while ago so now my van needs welding I thought this mightymig would be a good buy.
I'll have a look at the volkszone deal tho as it would get a higher standard of weld ultimately.
