Mighty Mig 100 Mark 2 Instructions

I have been given an older Mighty Mig 100 Mark 2 welder (not a gasless model), but the wrong instructions. There are three controls on the front: a wire feed speed control, a rocker switch marked "Max/Min" and another marked "1 / 2".The booklet that I have is for an earlier model that has just the speed control and the "Max/Min" rocker.

Can anyone direct me to somewhere that I can get a set of instructions for this machine or tell me what the rocker switches are for?

The rocker switches are for voltage and should be low to high in the following sequence:
Min 1
Min 2
Max 1
Max 2

You can check it with a multimeter set to DC between the tip and the work return (earth) clamp, just release the wire feed tension to stop it feeding while checking.

I was given the hardback copy as a Christmas present: well worth a read. Can you get a copy at the library? Our town library has almost all of his books.

I haven't been in a library for 10+ years even then it was for genealogy research, I don't mind waiting for the paperback as I like to add them to my "library" as I tend to read them every few years.
Don't know how many more books he will produce due to his illness

I agree that they certainly stand re-reading. Somehow I suspect that his output will trail off quickly. I hope that he stops before he starts to turn out tripe, though. Tom Sharpe's last two books, published not long before his death, were noticeably weaker than his earlier work: a bit of a shame, really.

I was a bit disappointed with "unseen academicals" then he was back on form with "snuff"
