Mig wire

Good evening all,I have a clarke 150 te turbo mig and I have been useing the small 0.7 kg reels of wire on it ,so my question is can I use the 5 kg reel of wire with out any problems and do I need to purchase any other adapters to fit it thanks

if the 5kg reels will physically fit into the machine you can just cut an empty 0.7kg reel down to fit inside the 5kg reel as a bush

i would imagine the 150te turbo can take 5kg rolls,

as my clarke 155 turbo, was the first of the industrial units so could take the 15kg rolls.
and has the shelf on the back for the bottle.

yeah they'll take 5kg reels as standard

5kg is standared on them but i use a 15kg on mine by building a frame that the roll, rolls on and wiring it in via bicycle cable from the frame through a hole in the back and used the brake spacers to hold the cable in place it does the job just fine
